Geometric Nail Tutorial

1 Comment 15 September 2010

I was inspired by the Minx Sky Blue and Lime Green Plaid design for these nails.  I used Pure Ice “New Lilac”, Pure Ice Creame “Wild Thing”, and Revlon Street Wear “Krypton” as my color palette.  By drawing lines over where the colors meet, you can achieve professionally straight divisions.  To simplify further, you could create a basic cross to divide your nail into four squares for a colorful windowpane design.  You could also use shimmery light pink pink, yellow and dark blue for a stained glass version.

For best results, allow your nails to dry between each color application.  Hope you enjoy and note that I’m still working on my video quality – class dismissed!
